B.O.T (Build - Own - Transfer)

BOT is a project financing and operating approach that has found an application in recent years primarily in the area of infrastructure privatization. Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) contacts are designed to bring private investment into the construction of new Water Treatment Plants. Under a BOT, the private sector finances, builds and operates a new infrastructure facility or system according to performance standards set by the PT. SARANA INTI PERTIWI.

The operations period is long enough to allow the private company to pay off the construction costs and realize a profit typically 10 to 20 years. The water treatment Infrastructures will be owned by client.

The advantages of this model Iie in the fact that the construction of a new plant (or the takeover and rehabilitation/extension of an existing plant) is entirely financed by the private sector ( PT SARANA Ibm PERTIWI ).

PT. SARANA INTI PERTIWI would invest in designing constructing, installing and running water treatment plants on Clients premises and charges only for water consumed by the Clients.

As a funders of the project, PT. SARANA INTI PERTIWI has an ownership of dl the construction and operation that build in Client's place. The majority of construction and long-term operating risk can be transferred onto the Clients as BOT provider.

Typical term of 10 - 20 years is the norm and the Client has the option of either taking over the plant at the end of this term (BOT).
